Dementia Guidance

If you or someone you know is worried about becoming increasingly forgetful, particularly if they’re older than 65, you should talk to your doctor about the possibility of dementia. The Alzheimer’s Society Website offers information for people with dementia and their families and friends. It aims to raise awareness of dementia, as well as help people create networks and better understand the impact of the condition.

We receive regular updates from our local Alzheimer’s Society Support Team in Sefton, with information relating to local support groups, raising awareness of dementia, and helping people better understand the impact of this condition.

We know dementia affects everyone differently. So whether you, a loved one, a friend or neighbour is affected by dementia, we’re here to support you. For more information, call Dementia Connect on 0333 150 3456 or email seftonoffice@alzheimers.org.uk.
